The Giving Never Stops: Some Of The World’s Selfless Philanthropists

There truly is enough money to go around for everybody on the planet. At least, this is what some of the world’s biggest economic drivers believe in. Here are a few of the most generous people who have shown that they truly care about humanity.

1. Bill Gates

It’s very reassuring to know that the wealthiest individual in the world also has the biggest heart. Bill Gates, mostly known as the college dropout who co-founded Microsoft, now concentrates more on his philanthropy. He is doing most of his hands-on management in running the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with his wife, Melinda, focusing on agriculture, urban poverty, and education among other target causes.

2. Warren Buffett

More popularly known as the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet has donated $21.5 billion to date. In the interest of inspiring other affluent individuals to do the same, Buffet partnered with Gates in creating the Giving Pledge, a program crafted so that the more financially blessed people in the world can commit to donating a large portion of their wealth, with the assurance that this will go to worthy causes.

3. Mark Zuckerberg

This social media tycoon may not be the biggest donor now, but he will surely make a run for it as he is the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. This early, he has signed up with the Giving Pledge with a promise of donating half of his wealth to the cause. His most recent donation was directed to the fight against Ebola. Together with his wife, he pledged a donation of $100 million in Facebook shares to the New Jersey public school system.
